Abstract:
The Workshop is conceived as an academic space of convergence between science, applied technologies, and communication, aimed at debating and disseminating research that addresses contemporary challenges related to digital transformation. It proposes an interdisciplinary perspective that integrates approaches from engineering, communication, education, health, and social sciences, promoting critical dialogues on the ethical, social, and methodological impact of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies across various sectors of society.
Through its cross-cutting approach, the Workshop encourages reflection on how advanced technologies reshape learning processes, knowledge creation, decision-making, and interaction among institutions, professionals, and citizens. It also promotes the development of theoretical frameworks and responsible practices that strengthen the quality of research and scientific dissemination in the region.
Its educational orientation and forward-looking vision position it as a reference point for understanding and anticipating the transformations that artificial intelligence and digital technologies will continue to generate in education, science, health, and 21st-century society.
