In ICOMTA’24 – The IV International Conference on Communication and Applied Technologies 2024, there are two modes of participation: by submitting a full paper in English, Spanish, or Portuguese (with publication: https://icomta.me/submission/) or by submitting an abstract (without publication: https://icomta.me/submission-of-abstracts/) in the same languages. This latter mode of participation includes a certificate and the presentation of an accepted proposal after peer review. In both modes, presentation can be done either in person or virtually.

Standards and topics
The abstract must have a maximum length of 250 words and five keywords, on the following topics:
- Digital communication and processes
- Software, big data, data mining and intelligent systems
- Communication, Health, Politics and Technologies. The other pandemic: misinformation in times of coronavirus. Automation, bots and algorithms
- Fact-checking experiences in Europe and Latin America at the service of journalism: comparative perspective
- Persuasion and emotion: analysis of language, content and artificial intelligence.
- Freedom of expression, ethics and transparency in the digital society
- Digital social networks
- Innovation, university teaching and technology
- Miscellaneous (journalism, communication, advertising and public relations, political science and other aspects of Social and Human Sciences from information and communication technologies)
Registration
Registration payment can be made until July 20, 2024, once the abstract has been accepted (see all dates at the bottom of this page).
