Technological tools usually promote or combat violence through discourses that go viral in minutes, regardless of national limits or borders, and in all its surroundings (for example in politics, entertainment, journalism, etc.), hence it is urgent to analyze and debate from a gender and intersectionality perspective the violence that manifests itself in everyday life and discuss the media field and the new technologies that favor its spread, enhancing the vulnerabilities of certain groups of people.

Likewise, the need to review the work of media and analyze journalists as passive subjects and victims of violence in virtual and analog spaces is recognized. In this way, it is intended to discuss the concepts of violence and ethics and their mechanisms of action in analog, digital and media spaces. We receive academic articles that deepen research on the subject.
