- The prestigious open-access publisher Atlantis Press has released the proceedings book of the 2024 International Conference on Communication and Applied Technologies (ICOMTA’24), held from September 4 to 6 in Lima, Peru
One of the ICOMTA 2024 proceedings volumes is now available online, published by Atlantis Press. This volume, which compiles 56 scientific articles, underwent a rigorous peer-review process and is accessible in open access on the official Atlantis Press platform.
Atlantis Press is globally recognized for its focus on scientific, technical, and medical (STM) content. Since its foundation in Paris in 2006, the publisher has released over 120 books, 18 series of conference proceedings (with more than 1,200 conference volumes) and 20 journals across various disciplines. Its platform currently hosts over 140,000 scientific articles, generating more than 25 million downloads annually, ensuring widespread access to scientific knowledge worldwide.
The ICOMTA 2024 proceedings book addresses current research in communication and applied technologies, offering interdisciplinary contributions and innovative solutions in these fields. The conference, held from September 4 to 6 in Lima, Peru, brought together prominent academics from 20 countries, solidifying its role as an essential forum within the Ibero-American context and as an international platform for discussion on these disciplines.
In its 2024 edition, ICOMTA set records for both participant numbers and submitted proposals, with 202 papers evaluated by more than 400 authors from 20 countries. In addition to Atlantis Press (indexed in CPCI of Web of Science), the proceedings will also be published in Springer (Scopus) and Tirant lo Blanch (SPI Q1).
