ICOMTA 23 articles are now listed in Web of Science (Atlantis Press)!

The authors participating in ICOMTA 23 are in luck. The 32 articles published in the book “Proceedings of the International Conference on Communication and Applied Technologies 2023 (ICOMTA 2023)”, by the prestigious publisher Atlantis Press (part of Springer Nature), are indexed in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index of the Web of Science, the world’s most important editorial catalog.

From the beginning, we trusted Atlantis Press because we consider it to be an ascending publisher that also presents some differentiating elements,” says Paulo Carlos López, President of the Honorary Committee of ICOMTA24. “For example, the fact that they publish openly, have a strict quality control protocol, and are part of one of the most globally relevant publishing groups, among other things.”

Meanwhile, Daniel Barredo, President of the International Scientific Committee of ICOMTA24, indicates that it is very difficult to meet the criteria required by the Web of Science, which highlights both the quality of ICOMTA as an event and especially that of the participating authors. “We are already preparing the ICOMTA2024 edition for Atlantis Press, which will also be submitted to the Web of Science, and I can only emphasize the enormous quality of the works received,” says Barredo, who is also an Editor—alongside internationally renowned authors such as Han Woo Park and Andreu Casero Ripollés—in the collection Atlantis Highlights in Social Sciences, Education and Humanities.
